Call for caterers from the territory of Municipality of Gracanica

On the occasion of the first International Festival of mediaeval arts and crafts – SHIELD, in Gracanica from 16th to 18th of September 2016, Tourism Organization of Gracanica invites all caterers interested to offer their lowest bid not later than 5th of September, 2016 up to 14:00 hours, regarding the food preparation for the participants of the festival. The festival is funded by USAID – Advancing Kosovo Together – Local Solution program and Municipality of Gracanica.

    

The caterer with the lowest bid will have the exclusive right to sell the food and beverages during the festival (we expect over 3000 visitors). Tourism Organization of Gracanica will provide to awarded caterer free of charge: power outlet and space at football pitch within sports complex “Dragan Dzajic”. 

A minimum requirements that caterers have to fulfil are:

• Friday, 16th of September, at 17:00 hours, prepare 100 meals for the participants of the festival (dinner for the participants)

• Saturday, 17 th of September, at 11:00 hours, prepare 100 meals for participants of the festival (lunch for the participants)

• Saturday, 17 th of September, at 17:00 hours, prepare 100 meals for participants of the festival (dinner for the participants)

• Sunday, 18th of September, at 11:00 hours, prepare 100 meals for the participants of the festival (lunch for the participants)

• The caterer is obliged to provide by himself all necessary inventory for catering services to participants and visitors of the festival (refrigerators, barbecue, tables, benches or chairs and tents) as well as required quantity of food and beverages which will be sold to visitors.     

• The minimal capacity of the restaurant (tent) at football pitch is 50 seats (persons).

Preference will be given to proposals with traditional cuisine. Recommendations for the menu: beans with meat stews, cabbage rolls, staffed paprika, cabbage with meat, goulash (stew), Kosovo’s bread (pogaca), Kosovo’s pie, barbecue etc. It is desirable to prepare at least one meal at football pitch within medieval camp.  

The projected (planned) funds for this service is 1500 €.

The caterer is obliged to submit menu together with offer bid according to above mentioned schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). It is possible to submit the offer bid personally in the office of Tourism Organization of Gracanica, business center, III floor or via e-mail: togrcanica@gmail.com   

After the consideration of the offer bids, not later than 10th of September, the contract will be signed with awarded caterer.

A public bid opening will be held in the office of TO Gracanica, 5th of September at 14:00 hours.

The bid offers without menu will be considered as incomplete and will not be considered.
