The Tourism Development Strategy of the Municipality of Gracanica (2016 – 2021) presented
15.02.2017.On Monday 17th of October 2016, in the assembly
hall of the Municipality of Gracanica, the Strategy of the Tourism Development
has been presented.
The project of Tourism Development Strategy of Municipality
of Gracanica was funded by Office of Community Affairs with the support of
Municipality of Gracanica. The main objective of the strategy development is to
provide the crucial guidelines for further development of Gracanica as tourist
destination.
Within this project, two workshops has been organized:
1) SWOT analysis (strength,
weakness, opportunities and threats for tourism development) and
2) Establishment of roles and responsibilities
of stakeholders within the tourism development in Municipality of Gracanica.
The authors of the Tourism Development Strategy of
Municipality of Gracanica are Doc. Dr. Branko Krasojevic and magister of
economic science Danijela Vicentijevic with its expert’s team. The great
contribution on the production of such document, with its participation in the
workshops, gave the stakeholders among which are: representatives of the
municipality departments, Raska and Prizren Diocese, NGO’s, owners of the
accommodation facilities, local media representatives, souvenir manufacturers,
entrepreneurships and Tourism Organization of Gracanica employees.
The Tourism Development Strategy of Municipaity of Gracanica
is officially adopted on Municipal Assembly session on 11th of
August 2016.
